WonderFil's Mirage thread is a random dyed 30wt variegated Rayon thread. Lovely colors. This is a blue-yellow variegated thread. The perfect color combination for this quilt.

I've had this lovely huge Lone Star quilt pieced for a long time, but couldn't find a yellow/blue thread to match. I was teaching a WonderFil Threaducation class a few years ago and a student was playing with a thread and stitching a simple satin stitch. "PERFECT"!!!!

For this project I'm using SD39.

The randomness of the variegation adds interest and texture to the quilt. I'll edit the post to show the finished quilt when it is done.
