Superior Thread's King Tut is this week's focus for Thursday Thread.

King Tut is a 3 ply, 40wt cotton thread. Superior recommends a Topstitch 90/14 needle on domestic machines and 110/18 or 120/19 needle on a higher speed longarm.

The first time or two that I used it, I wasn't very happy. I found that I got a fair bit of lint, but I don't use it in the bobbin anymore and find the lint is a lot less.

This thread color is #403, English Ivy. The variegation is very subtle from a light to medium green. I found it blended perfectly.

This quilt "Ribbon Geese" has been sitting around for quite a number of years. I found quilting it fun and am thinking of making another one soon, so 'perfect' the quilting design.
