Summer Adventure Day 4

After a day of on and off rain, we woke to cloudy sunshine. Sun shining thru the clouds. One minute chilly, the next almost too hot.

We decided to visit Ashcroft BC as we won't drive by on our trip to the coast tomorrow and it has a Home Hardware!

We had decided to pack light and pick up necessities as we determined that we needed them. We needed a rubber/silicone spatula!

Back at our site we spent some time at the "beach" but all the people coming and going was giving the girls fits. So we headed back to the campsite to chill and sew in the shade.

I've got all 81 blocks done for my queen size Arabesque Zigzag quilt. Next up I'll have to sew them into the quilt top.

We decided to spend some time after supper at the river's edge near our campsite. Not as easy to get in the water, but the girls did much better.
